The challenge: Elevating Parkside’s online presence
Parkside Architectural Tiles, a proud member of the Topps Tiles Group, is a key supplier of commercial tiles used in a variety of architectural and interior design projects. Their audience includes architects, specifiers, designers, and contractors, all juggling multiple deadlines and projects.
Although Parkside’s website attracted healthy traffic before, the digital journey didn’t fully support the fast-paced needs of its users. Professionals needed a more seamless and intuitive way to browse collections, access technical specs, and order samples without hassle. Instead of a simple visual update, the goal was to rethink the entire platform to support the full specification process. The outcome is a site that combines Parkside’s premium design identity with the practical demands of its expert audience.
Building a professional-first platform
From day one, our goal was to deliver a site that inspires while remaining straightforward and efficient to use. Architects and designers begin much of their work online but rely heavily on fast, trustworthy technical information to make confident decisions.
Powered by Shopify and designed specifically for B2B needs, the new site features a streamlined structure and intuitive navigation. Users can now browse product ranges more smoothly, visually explore collections, and access critical information quickly to support confident material selection. Since launch, the new platform has delivered impressive early results for Parkside.
Within the first 15 weeks, orders rose from 250 to 350 compared to the previous equivalent period. User engagement has also jumped, with visitors spending more time exploring and interacting with the site. Most strikingly, key engagement actions, including purchases, inquiries, and calls, soared from 336 to 2,007.
These metrics clearly show that the enhanced user experience empowers visitors to navigate the specification process with greater ease and confidence.
